Rough World is an exhibition of textural images exploring and drawing forth the subtle variations of colour and pattern that are all around us, both in the natural and developed realms. Transferring these onto a range of materials, from stone to acrylic, further heightens the distinctive qualities of each image.

Benjamin Townsend is a photographer who works commercially in the fields of architecture, industrial, and corporate photography. His travels for both work and pleasure have taken him around much of Australia, as well as Europe, North America, and parts of Asia
