MELISSA FALLSHAW
BECOME " It may be art, craft, fashion or design, whatever umbrella I am supposed to be under, I think I am just on a tactile journey started as an 8 yr old ,on a holly hobbie sewing machine , making roller skate boot covers out of old yellowing singlets… and sequins."
DAVID PEDDLE David Peddle is a recent painting graduate of the National Art School. He is working towards a solo show at Horus and Deloris in early 2010. JUSTIN SHOULDER Coels call from concrete towers Justin Shoulder’s Fantastic Creatures are born from the loins of Sydney. He inhabits these alter egos to weave urban mythologies. Shoulder’s creatures made their first appearances in the underground clubs of Sydney’s demi-monde and have since found an equally appreciative audience in Australian contemporary art spaces, performance venues and festivals. Their howls and whistles echo through photography, drawing, sculpture and other totemic imagery.
